Founded in the early 20th century, Regal is one of the oldest names in the music industry.
Re-constituted in 1995, the label has since helped uncover The Beta Band, Babyshambles and Lily Allen.
So new signings Anteros have it all to do. The band's debut (self-titled) EP is forthcoming, with lead cut 'Anteros' online now.
Clash is able to premiere 'Fade To Grey'. Taken from the flip, it's a seductive piece of synth-pop and seemingly inspired by the ferocious pace of London.
"The track 'Anteros' is about us coming to terms with moving to London", explains front woman Laura Hayden. "Although it's big and busy, it can be a confusing and lonely city. The whole EP is about us coming to grasp with growing-up and balancing love with fears, dreams and ambitions. Our name Anteros was birthed from the statue with the same name that sits in the middle of the beating heart of London city."
