A soft, sombre, and striking new single...

Amy Studt was drawn into the pop sphere from an early age, but quickly grew uncomfortable with the machine.

Eager to fully express herself, the London artist rebelled, striking out on her own singular path.

Playing live shows in and around London, she has begun working with Crocodile Records, who will release her next single.

'Let The Music Play' lands this week, and it's a mission statement of artistic and personal freedom, a freak folk hymnal that utilises some trippy effects.

Pushing her voice to the limit, it's a whispered but highly intense document, one that finds Amy resolutely travelling her own path.

We've got first play - check it out now.

Catch Amy Studt playing a Crocodile Records showcase - alongside Great Silkie & Gemini Sun - at Lion Coffee + Records in London on May 4th. Amy Studt will then play London's St Pancras Church on July 5th.
