It's difficult to know how to describe Amber Leaves.

Oddball pop songs sculpted by exiles from Leeds University, the band marry an indie rock chassis to a percussive engine which nods towards hip-hop.

A unique live proposition, new song 'This Ain't A Love Song' was mastered by Grammy award-winner Mandy Parnell and it's an enormous step forward for the group.

Seeming to come from a quite natural place, singer Chesney Jefferson describes the creative process as: "Writing music feels more like a necessity than a choice. It's what gets us off."
