Premiere: Amber Arcades – ‘Turning Light’ (Justin Robertson’s Deadstock 33’s Meditation Dub)

A wonderful, explorative rendering of Annelotte de Graaf's original...

Amber Arcades is the alter ego of Annelotte de Graaf, a Dutch musician whose bewildering psych-pop soundtracked much of last year.

Enthralling songwriting matched to ethereal atmosphere, Amber Arcades' debut album 'Fading Lines' (purchase LINK) rightly earned widespread acclaim.

Returning to the UK, the Dutch songwriter has handed the keys to her sparkling cut 'Turning Light' over to veteran producer Justin Roberton.

The electronic musicians exploratory, dub-fuelled take on the original flips Amber Arcades' music on its head, injecting a few notes of its own in the process.

Billed as the 'Meditation Dub' it certainly does that, with Justin Robertson finding inner calm amidst the fluctuating psychedelic tapestries.

Tune in now.
