Praiz is one of the new icons in Nigerian R&B, part of a generation asserting the nation's creativity on a global scale.
New project 'To The Moon' is a perfectly pitched return, with his subtle songwriting delving into close relationships.
Reflecting the nature of lockdown, Praiz is focussed on intimacy, picking up on the most subtle aspects of our time together.
He comments: “due to the pandemic, some lovers get to spend quality time together in isolation, creating a tranquil experience, and this EP tries to capture that feeling”.
Very much a platform for Praiz ad his abilities, the five track project is also an intensely broad, highly creative experience, bolstered by some special guests.
Kinxn, Ice Prince and more are featured across its five tracks, with Praiz pushing himself into fresh aesthetic spaces in the process.
A sign of his continued potency, 'To The Moon' could be his finest moment yet.
