Poté Comes Of Age On ‘Serve’

Put some tropical flair in your life...

Poté has been on our radar for some time now, with the London-based producer standing out from the crowd.

Born in St. Lucia, the producer laces together tropical vibes with European dance culture, producing something that borrows the best of both worlds while not truly sitting in either.

Inhabiting his own electronic peninsula, Poté is currently prepping his new EP, and recently unveiled a full live show at a special London gig.

With the weekend fast incoming Clash is able to unveil new cut 'Serve' and it's an off kilter dancefloor bomb.

The repeated vocal refrain brings to mind those early Jam City cuts, and indeed Night Slugs' neon-brutalism shares a kinship with Poté's output.

The young don has a voice of his own, though, with the bubbling synths learning against percussive stabs to create something pretty damn funky.

Tune in now.
