Date Set For New Album

Legendary British trip-hop act Portishead have announced their first headline show in over ten years. The pioneering band will play the a homecoming gig at Bristol Academy on December 15th. After a lengthy hiatus Portishead returned in 2005 with a slot at the Tsunami Benefit concert in Bristol, before announcing they will curate this year’s All Tomorrow’s Parties festival.

The band have also confirmed that their new album will be released next year. The as yet untitled album will be available from March 31st 2008.
