Legendary trip-hop act Portishead are set to return with their first new single in 10 years, when “Machine Gun” is released to download from 7.30pm tonight (March 18th).
The band’s last single was the classic track “Only You” – released in 1998. Portishead have been carefully preparing new album “Third” for release on April 28th. The album is set to be available on CD and vinyl, as well as a special, limited edition, box set which contains a double vinyl album, a P-shaped 1GB USB, an etched 12″ vinyl version of “Machine Gun” as well as a special print.
“Machine Gun” is available to download from 7.30pm tonight (March 17th) and will be released physically on April 14th.
