Porcelain Raft are set to release their debut album ‘Strange Weekend’ on January 23rd.

Travelling continuously, Italian songwriter Mauro Remiddi absorbed new influences wherever he went. Fusing the disparate elements which inspired him into one style, the Porcelain Raft project was born.

Essentially dream pop, the languid atmospheres have a very visual effect. Porcelain Raft seem to have a cine dynamic, with Mauro Remiddi channelling his years of travel into one full length document.

Signed to Secretly Canadian, debut album ‘Strange Weekend’ was recorded in a Brooklyn basement. Set to be released on January 23rd, Porcelain Raft is previewing his upcoming album with a free download.

Meanwhile, Porcelain Raft have been added to M83’s upcoming tour. Opening in Bristol on January 17th, the dates continue with shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and more.

Ending in London, Porcelain Raft will support M83 at the Shepherds Bush Empire on February 16th.
