It's a common trope in dance music for producers and DJs to want to take you higher.
Sure, there's a slice of innuendo in there, but it's also pretty earnest: great music should elevate, it should have a transformative quality.
Osunlade knows this better than most. The Yoruba Records boss is steeped in dance music lore, a figure who believes heavily in music's power to inspire.
Set to fly out to Switzerland's Polaris Festival next month, Osunlade will play before a mountaintop crowd – literally allowing them to touch the sky.
Here's a few tracks he might pack for the journey…

Manuel Gottshing – 'E2 – E4'
This would be the last and final song I'd play on a mountain. It's one hour in total and one of the most amazing early electronic songs. It would be an epic moment of space and emotion.
– – –
Yellow Magic Orchestra – 'Firecracker'
I'd love to see the reaction of this one. Part disco, part funk it always brings out the freedom and fun in people. I think it would be an exciting way to start the party.
– – –
Prince – 'Sexy Dancer'
This one just because it's one of the baddest tune ever recorded. If you don't dance to this one, you're dead!
– – –
Carl Craig – 'Sandstorms'
Classic one that would open the mountains up and allow the sun to shine. Epic!
– – –
Osunlade – 'Momma's Groove'
This one because it's a party jam and I'd love to see the reaction.
