Well, this is slightly unusual.
Parisian based event We Love Green takes place this summer, with the likes of London Grammar, Cat Power, SBTRKT, Lorde, Foals, Earl Sweatshirt and more taking part.
Busy P returns to Paris for a back-to-back set with Riton, preparing something special for the French crowds. Ahead of this, Clash asked the producer to piece together a playlist themed around the event.
The result? 'Music that makes me want to eat flowers…'
Profokiev – 'Pierre Et Le Loup' (STREAM)
We call it a 'Madeleine De Proust' in French, a souvenir that takes you back to your childhood best moment.
Moodoid – 'Je Suis La Montagne' (STREAM)
That song makes me want to eat flowers for real.
Air – 'Le Soleil Est Pret De Moi' (STREAM)
One of my favourite French band ever. I'm a massive Air fan. This was on their very first EP back in 1996.
Nick Drake – 'River Man' (STREAM)
Sad songs make me happy.
The Cure – 'A Forest' (STREAM)
'Pedro can you do a playlist We Love Green orientated?' 'A Forest' sounds pretty relevant to me.
Pink Floyd – 'Atom Heart Mother' (STREAM)
I of course choose this one for its cover sleeve by hipgnosis. A beautiful cow chilling on green grass and under blue sky. And also because I'm a massive Pink Floyd fan.
Midlake – 'Roscoe' (STREAM)
I choose this one because it was playing in my iTunes when I had to reply to this email.
Fleet Foxes – 'White Winter Hymnal' (STREAM)
I saw them live in Paris, one of the best shows ever.
Justice – 'OHIO' (STREAM)
This cover version of 'Ohio' by my two favourite Parisians is just pure gold. I can see the crowd of We Love Green going mental on this one!
Metallica – 'Harvester Of Sorrow' (STREAM)
What about ending up We Love Green in a mega mud bath?
