Singer Teams Up With John Parish

Acclaimed British singer PJ Harvey has revealed that her next album will be a collaboration with John Parish and will be released in March 2009, it has been reported.

PJ Harvey has become one of the pre-eminent female vocalists of British music. Seminal debut album ‘Dry’ is a landmark in modern music, a challenging work that demonstrated the versatile range of the then-precocious talent. Since then Harvey has matured to become a wonderful chanteuse, even bagging the Mercury Music Prize in 2001 with her album ‘Songs From The City, Songs From The Sea’.

The new album is the first time Harvey and John Parish have worked together since ‘Dance Hall At Louse Point’ in 1996. The album was produced by Flood in Harvey’s native Dorset, and is keenly anticipated by fans. The singer’s last album was ‘White Chalk’ released in 2007.

PJ Harvey will release her new studio album ‘A Woman A Man Walked By’ on March 30th.
