Pip Millett has shared plans for new EP ‘Tell Jimmy’.
The precocious vocalist has a small, succinct, but emphatically creative catalogue, melding opaque R&B and gossamer neo-soul with subtle hints of jazz. A wonderful live artist, her eagerly anticipated debut LP ‘When Everything Is Better, I’ll Let You Know’ landed in 2022.
Last year Pip took off in support of R&B queen Ari Lennox on her incredible European tour, before touching down at key festivals, such as Love Supreme, Montreux Jazz Festival, and more.
New EP ‘Tell Jimmy’ is out on February 15th, and it features five songs. Lead single ‘Eating Out’ exemplifies her free-flowing creativity – in genre terms it’s porous, capable of blurring the lines while exhibiting a personal message.
Constructed alongside Rae Khalil, it’s a spicy pulse-raiser that leaves a smile on your face.
