The songwriter's new EP – also called 'James' – arrives on March 10th, a world inhabited by dreamy synths and razor-sharp hooks.
The title cut is now online, and it shows another side to the rapidly blossoming newcomer.
'James' is a tribute to her late father, and it's slow-moving progress is marked by a powerfully honest vocal.
Growing up surrounded by a sense of loss, she comments: “I'd often come up with scenarios in my head that involved him being in hiding or playing a joke on us and that it was all just a really elaborate plan to test me”.
