Six string hopefuls desperate to play along with classics by Pink Floyd can now do so with the launch of a new DVD tutorial.
From their inception in the mid 60s, Pink Floyd always had a unique approach to guitar playing. Founder Syd Barrett enjoyed rolling ball bearings down the neck, and after the group began to explore a late progressive direction they became the by-word for guitar excellence.
Albums such as ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ are now staples of guitar magazines, but few have unlocked the magic of the group’s sound beyond rolling out a few pages of tablature.
Forthcoming DVD ‘Learn To Play Pink Floyd’ aims to solve that problem. An expert will guide you through five classic Pink Floyd anthems, working step by step as the songs evolve.
Amongst the classics included are ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’, ‘Money’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, ‘Comfortably Numb’, ‘Another Brick In The Wall’.
