Pink Floyd Break Pre-Order Records

'The Endless River' tops Amazon charts for 2014...

The first blast of new Pink Floyd material in 20 years, 'The Endless River' is set to be the band's final statement.

Due for release on November 10th, the album has sparked furious speculation amongst fans. With enormous interest in the project, Amazon have confirmed that 'The Endless River' has broken pre-order records for 2014.

If the pattern continues, the brand argue, then Pink Floyd could topple One Direction as the most pre-ordered group in the site's history.

Director of Amazon EU Digital Music, Steve Bernstein, commented:

"That Pink Floyd's 'The Endless River' could become the most -pre-ordered album of all time on Amazon.co.uk, following other artists like One Direction and Robbie Williams who have held that top spot, is a testament to the strength and diversity of the UK music scene. Customers love the convenience of pre-ordering ‘The Endless River’ on CD or vinyl knowing they will receive a digital version of the album for free in their Amazon Music Library on the day the album is released through Amazon AutoRip."

'The Endless River' will be released on November 10th.
