Pill Fangs Return With ‘Pain Inside’

It's a blast of off piste melody from Dan Haywood...

Pill Fangs seem to exist in their own world.

Or, to be more precise, a world charted by Dan Haywood, whose melodic yet off piste constructions fuelled the band's charming debut album.

Rather appropriately titled 'PF1' the record will be followed by the even more appropriate titled 'PF2' on March 22nd.

Hand-built from the ground up, it moves on from the Television-esque guitar attack of their debut to locate something more subtle and nuanced.

New cut 'Pain Inside' matches lyrical introversion to bright and vivid chord changes, the light/shade dichotomy resulting in something rather fetching.

Clash has first play, and we're going to enjoy spending rather more prolonged trips with 'PF2'.
