Phoenix Announce New Album ‘Alpha Zulu’

New single 'Tonight' ft Ezra Koenig is out now...

Phoenix will release new album ‘Alpha Zulu’ on November 4th.

The new album is the much-loved group’s first since 2017, which saw the release of the critically acclaimed ‘Ti Amo’. Out on November 4th, ‘Alpha Zulu’ finds Phoenix spinning the creative dials once more, welcoming fresh voices and new ideas.

Crafted in Paris’ Musée des Arts Décoratifs, which sits in the Palais du Louvre, the incoming LP was produced by Phoenix themselves. A snappy 10 tracker, it’s led by new single ‘Tonight’, a song imbued with their thirst for melody.

In a neat twist, ‘Tonight’ boasts a new voice – a duet with Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, this actually represents the first time Phoenix have employed another lead vocalists on a track.

A sublime return, the video for ‘Tonight’ was directed by Oscar Boyson, and splits between Tokyo and Paris (partly in the band’s own studio, in fact).
