Phoebe Hall’s Gut-Wrenching Single ‘Guilt Complex’

Her new EP lands in May...

Phoebe Hall has shared new single ‘Guilt Complex’.

The songwriter doesn’t flinch from uncomfortable truths, baring her soul on each track. New EP ‘Stop Before It Starts’ is out on May 17th, but before this Phoebe Hall has unveiled something bold, honest, and moving.

Out now, ‘Guilt Complex’ is rooted in her simple but powerful use of melody, her vocal both beautiful, and straight-forward. The lyrics discuss heartbreak, and explore internalised self-loathing in young queer people.

“’Guilt Complex is a queer heartbreak song about how bad guilt feels and how it completely consumes me, making it impossible to love who I’m with,” explains Phoebe. “It’s a self-reflective and honest confession that the problem is me and nothing else and that in order to be myself again, I need to be with someone else”.

Tune in now.
