Phoebe Green Shares Synth-Pop Workout ‘Just A Game’

One of the most direct statements on her new album...

Phoebe Green has shared new single ‘Just A Game’.

The Manchester based songwriter’s debut album ‘Lucky Me’ is out on August 19th, and she’ll toast the release with a run of UK shows.

Set to play London’s Omeara on November 22nd, Phoebe Green aims for directness on her latest single.

Out now, ‘Just A Game’ is a synth-pop workout, one dominated by melody, and a thirst for connection. If it’s pop centric, then perhaps that’s due to the dynamic Phoebe is aiming for – trimmed back, open, and instantaneous.

She comments…

“‘Just A Game’ is probably the most obvious pop song on the album, which makes me feel kind of uneasy but excited. I’m still coming to terms with making songs that aren’t entirely alternative because I’m so cautious of my songs making me cringe if they sound too polished, but this one is just a pop bop and I’m here for it.”

Tune in now.
