Philip Selway Announces New Solo Album ‘Strange Dance’

New song 'Picking Up Pieces' is online now...

Philip Selway will release new solo album ‘Strange Dance’ on February 24th.

The Radiohead drummer recently signalled his return, having written 10 brand new songs at home on his piano. Built into individual structures, these pieces form the spine of incoming album ‘Strange Dance’ will lands next month.

Out on February 24th, the new track is led by new song ‘Picking Up Pieces’, a dark, dystopian offering. The motorik churn in the percussive engine is matched by a paranoid vocal, and guitar work from Portishead’s Adrian Utley.

Online now, the track is accompanied by some beautifully etched visuals, directed by William Williamson, with cinematography by award-winning DOP Adric Watson.
