San Diego riser Phabo returns with new single ‘Out Of Touch’.
Out now, the single builds on his emphatic COLORS performance, which seemed to illustrate his dynamic artistry to a tee. Moving forward, Phabo builds a trans-Atlantic R&B partnership, with Shaé Universe lending her voice to this excellent new single.
A drowsy slice of future soul, ‘Out Of Touch’ matches dreamy production from Malik Ninety Five – who has previously worked alongside AJ Tracey, amongst others – with a guest vocal from scintillating UK favourite Shaé Universe.
A unique blend of voices, the two seem to intimately entwine from the first note, allowing the pair to find perfect expression. Out now, ‘Out Of Touch’ deals with long-distance relationships, and the strength required to maintain commitment.

“As an artist, we coexist with an ongoing stigma that we’re unable to walk a faithful line when it comes to long-distance relationships. Oftentimes we stumble upon love in new cities and countries which leaves us chasing a moment or a specific emotion. A feeling that easily flees with surmounting schedule demands and a budding career. So I feel like this song fairly allows space for both Shae and I to detail what that experience can be like.”
