Super soaraway Swedish group Peter, Bjorn And John are due to release their new single ‘Nothing To Worry About’.
Founded by three friends in Sweden Peter, Bjorn And John have risen from cult obscurity to being praised by none other than hip hop don Kanye West.
Break through hit ‘Young Folks’ is probably still stuck in your head, with its whistled refrain storming charts across the globe. Parent album ‘Writer’s Block’ was a stunning collection of bittersweet songs, and has taken the group over two years to follow.
In the meantime Peter Moren has released a solo album titled ‘The Last Tycoon’ while the band themselves released an experimental collection last year.
Taken from their forthcoming album ‘Living Thing’, new single ‘Nothing To Worry About’ was famously leaked by Kanye West on his blog earlier this year. A wonderful return, it is, to quote West “off the hook”.
‘Living Thing’ itself is a strong return. One of the year’s most anticipated albums it contains that wonderful Peter, Bjorn And John sound but never once sounds like a retread of former glories.
Peter, Bjorn And John release their new single ‘Nothing To Worry About’ on March 23rd.
