Fresh from news of the Moonfest Scandal, where Pete Doherty was officially banned from playing a UK festival by draconian sources claiming the band would incite violence by exciting the crowd (isn’t it his job to excite crowds?..), Pete Doherty has announced he will play three UK gigs in October in Coventry, Manchester and Bournemouth.

The Babyshambles frontman recently hit the headlines again by jamming with a number of guitar legends. He recently met with Johnny Marr to knock out a version of Smiths b-side ‘Jeanie’, as well as The Las’ Lee Mavers last month to strum their way through their track ‘Over’.
