Pete And The Pirates One Off Gig

Band To Play Homecoming Show

Reading’s own band of merry minstrels Pete And The Pirates are set to play a homecoming gig this Sunday (July 27th) it has been announced.

The ban are in the middle of a European tour, but will take time out to play a free acoustic show at the Oakland Social Club in their hometown of Reading.

Pete And The Pirates released their debut album “Little Death” earlier this year to rave reviews from critics who loved their jaunty indie pop. Singles such as “Mr Understanding” and “Come On Feet” underlined their reputation as sterling song-smiths, a band that can combine the poppiest of melodies with the most bittersweet of melodies.

An acclaimed live act, the band recent main stage performance at Rockness was one of their best to date. Pete And The Pirates are currently storming the continent, but will take time out for what will no doubt be a very special performance.

Pete And The Pirates will play the following live dates:

July 27th – Oakland Social Club, Reading
