The song title ‘Find The Way’ almost feels like a meta-challenge for fans seeking to hear the world debut of the track last Thursday – Peggy Gou picked a very hidden destination for her single launch.
There’s nothing but olive trees and arid rolling hills for miles in the vast plateau of Southern Italy’s Valle d’Itria, where a single masseria – an old fortified stone farmhouse – emerges from the slumbering landscape, illuminated in the shade of Coca-Cola red.
‘Find The Way’ was launched in collaboration with COKE STUDIO™, and CLASH was in attendance at the super-exclusive launch alongside 500 fans – testifying to Gou’s love for the region and affection for her passionate Italian audience.
“I know it’s very early for Puglia, but thank you, grazie mille, for coming to celebrate my new single,” she said before unleashing the track. The first song released since Gou’s debut album, ‘I Hear You’, at the start of the summer, ‘Find The Way’ builds on Gou’s love of throwbacks, driven by a thudding ’90s house sound and layered with shimmering keys and bouncing bass, lyrically charting a sense of determination – a push onward.

“I’m a summer person at heart; I love sharing summer memories and positivity through my music and lyrics. ‘Find The Way’ encapsulates this energy,” Gou said in a statement, adding she was “thrilled” when COKE STUDIO™ asked her to make a track to capture a late summer reverie.
Ever the master of swanky merch, Gou took over the masseria with booths for transfer tattoos and nail stickers of album artwork, designed by her frequent collaborator, Jin Young Choi.
Gou is currently wrapping up her summer tour and on Saturday, she played a massive headline show at Gunnersbury Park, inviting the likes of Mochakk and LSDXOXO on stage.
COKE STUDIO™ is a platform powered by Coca-Cola to unite stars and breakthrough artists worldwide on a single platform. This year, the brand has partnered with Colombian reggaeton heavyweight Karol G and South Korean girl band sensation NewJeans. More exclusive tracks and events are planned across the world throughout the year.
In the meantime, listen to ‘Find The Way’ below.
