Pearly Drops Offer Pop At Its Most Amorphous With ‘Feed The Fire’

Their new album 'A Little Disaster' is incoming...

Pearly Drops have shared new single ‘Feed The Fire’.

The Finnish duo are a self-contained alt-pop factory, having written for the likes of ALMA, Nightwave, and Inga Copeland. Their own work remains the most potent, personal, and experimental, and incoming album ‘A Little Disaster’ underlines this.

Out on April 14th via cult label Cascine, the duo – Sandra Tervonen and Juuso Malin – have just shared a fresh preview from the record. ‘Feed The Fire’ displays the potency of their pop vision, while also moving into surreal, other-worldly climes.

Opaque electronics infused with melodic charm, ‘Feed The Fire’ offers digitally inclined pop at its most amorphous.

Pearly Drops comment…

“This song can’t decide if it’s outgoing or shy, sad or upbeat, it’s like when you say someone is a ‘lost cause’ – not really having a proper sense of self or lacking a protecting barrier between yourself and the rest of the world.”
