Pearl Jam Re-Issue Albums

Band Celebrate Anniversary

Seattle grunge legends Pearl Jam are set to celebrate their twentieth anniversary with a massive re-issue program, beginning with their classic album ‘Ten’.

Legendary grunge group Pearl Jam have turned twenty. The band were heavily criticised in their early years for cashing in on the alternative rock boom, but after two decades of thumbing their nose at the industry perhaps its time to give the band their due.

Led by Eddie Vedder the band have navigated the varying currents of the ocean of American rock for twenty years. Debut album ‘Ten’ cemented the group as a commercial success, soaring into the charts after ‘Nevermind’ broke the ice for a generation of left-field American bands.

Four different versions of the album will be available on its release on March 23rd, 2009. The release is the first in a massive re-issue program which will culminate in the band’s 20th anniversary in 2011.
