Filthy electro maiden Peaches is set to return with her fifth album, and has been assisted in the studio by Simian Mobile Disco and German outfit Digitalism.
Canadian electro filth merchant Peaches is set to unleash her fifth album. A career obsessed with those who bump in the night has brought the world such delights as second album ‘The Teaches Of Peaches’ and the Iggy Pop collaboration ‘Kick It’.
The forthcoming new album is set to feature Simian Mobile Disco and Digitalism. Peaches described the recording process in an interview on Australian radio, saying:
“It sounds fantastic. It’s amazing. It’s like a big variety show. There’s a ballad and then there’s some real hard stuff and some disco. I recorded a lot of it in London with Simian Mobile Disco. I’m finishing off a track now with Digitalism. I decided to just collaborate with everyone. I did a lot of writing with Gonzales, which is great because we never actually got to write anything for Peaches albums before.”
