It's an attack on greedy bankers...

Peace are ready to strike while the iron's hot.

Less than eighteen months after the release of their debut album, the Birmingham indie types have completed work on a follow up.

New LP 'World Pleasure' will be released later this year, with lead single 'Money' set to emerge on June 9th. It's a blast again cynical city culture, where "bit coins buy beatings and diamonds buy girls".

Debuted at last year's two-night-stand at London venue Shepherd's Bush Empire, Harry Koisser describes the song's inspiration thus: "I wrote 'Money' at some point last year whilst trying to write a song about anything but myself. I realised I wasn't born into it and I still don't have it and as a song it just seemed to work. It's not negative, bitter or whingey. I just feel like this year I got a ticket to the circus and I'm trying to decide if I'm a lion or a clown."

The video for the single was shot by Ninian Doff, with Peace making a (brief) guest appearance as bankers indulging in extravagant handshakes.
