One of the UK’s longest serving musical figures, Paul Weller, has announced a second tour of the UK in 2008.

The modfather has had a successful year, scoring a number one album in June with ’22 Dreams’, his ninth solo record since he began recording under his own name in ’92. Weller will play a selection of older classics with newer material from his more recent LP’s.

The Arena tour will see Weller ending with a triple-whammy at London’s Brixton Academy between the 24th and 26th of November. The tour will be preceded by a new album, with the BBC set to release a 4CD box set of Weller’s work on the 4th November this year, titled ‘Weller:At The BBC’.
