Paul Simon DVD Due

'Live From Philadelphia' Release

Massively successful singer / songwriter Paul Simon is set to release a new concert DVD ‘Live From Philadelphia’ next month, with a pre-order starting on November 25th.

The DVD features a performance from 1980, just as Simon was beginning to record his legendary ‘Gracelands’ album. Emerging from the Greenwich Village folk scene in the mid 60s, Paul Simon joined forces with Art Garfunkel to produce a massively successful team. The duo split, but Simon’s solo career has been an inventive success story.

The new DVD features material from his Simon & Garfunkel days such as ‘The Boxer’ and ‘The Sound Of Silence’ as well as classic solo hits such as ‘Me & Julio Down By The Schoolyard’.

Paul Simon’s backing on the 11 song set includes drummer Steve Gadd, bassist Tony Levin, pianist Richard Tee and guitarist Eric Gale.

Paul Simon releases the new DVD ‘Live In Philadelphia’ on November 25th. Tracklisting is as follows:

‘Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard’
‘Still Crazy After All These Years’
‘Ace In The Hole’
‘Something So Right’
‘One-Trick Pony’
‘Jonah’
‘50 Ways To Leave Your Lover’
