Patience Announces Debut Album ‘Dizzy Spells’

Divine new song 'The Girls Are Chewing Gum' is online now...

Patience – the new project from Veronica Falls' Roxanne Clifford – will release debut album 'Dizzy Spells' on May 5th.

Now based in Los Angeles the new project finds Roxanne Clifford working with analogue synths, channelling her indie pop tendencies through an electronic landscape.

Early singles were dappled with her potent pop touch, with Patience now set to release a full length album.

'Dizzy Spells' lands on May 5th, with the LP led by divine new single 'The Girls Are Chewing Gum'.

Reminiscent of those early Human League singles or even elements of The Long Blondes. Produced by Todd Edwards, the video is online now and it's inspired by a seminal British short film.

Roxanne explains…

"Partly inspired by British artist John Smith’s B&W short film from 1976 entitled The Girl Chewing Gum, the video is a literal and playful celebration of feminine self expression and confrontation."

Tune in now.
