Panic At The Disco Name New Members

Two new members unveiled

American emo-rock superstars Panic At The Disco have named tow new members.

Emerging from the bright lights of Las Vegas, Panic At The Disco seem remarkably ill at ease with modern American life. Clad in make up, the band hark back to The Cure’s melancholic pop, but with a crisp modern edge.

The band got their big break after inviting Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy to watch them rehearse. Snapped up by his label Decaydance, Panic At The Disco went on to become one of the biggest bands in the United States.

However the group were rocked earlier this year when two members walked out of recording sessions. Guitarist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker have left to form a new band, leaving their former band mates vowing to carry on.

In a new interview Panic At The Disco drummer Spencer Smith reveals that former The Cab guitarist Ian Crawford replaces Ross, while Walker’s shoes will be filled by The Brobecks’ Dallon Weekes.

Smith told MTV that Walker “is probably the most talented guitar player that me and Brendon have ever played with, and Dallon is a really nice guy and a really great bassist.”

Panic At The Disco have told fans that they can expect the band to fulfil their summer dates. The group are set to open for No Doubt and Blink 182 in the next few months, as they also attempt to put the finishing touches to their third album ‘Pretty. Odd’.

Meanwhile former members Ross and Walker have unveiled their new band. Named The Young Veins fans are eager to get a glimpse of the much talked about new group.

The Young Veins are currently working on their debut album, but have uploaded one track ‘Change’ to their MySpace page.
