Pangaea’s new double EP ‘Release’ will be available through Hessle Audio from October 29th.
Part of the trio behind Hessle Audio, Pangaea’s tidy, expertly thought through discography contains some inspiring cuts. Now the producer has signalled his return, with perhaps his most expansive document yet.
‘Release’ will be available from October 29th, and finds Pangaea returning to the double EP format. Containing eight tracks spread across two slices of vinyl, the pack promises to be a typically varied affair.
Continually to collate the splinters of British bass, the producer veers from Jungle to subtle steppers rhythms, techno to ruffneck ‘Ardkore. Opening cut ‘Game’ contains a telling vocal sample: “Do your thing, just make sure you’re ahead of the game…”
