Panchiko and billy woods combine on new song ‘Shandy In The Graveyard’.
The Nottingham art-rock group are lining up the release of their new album, with ‘Ginkgo’ set to hit home on April 4th via Nettwerk. The second song to be released from the incoming LP, ‘Shandy In The Graveyard’ finds Pachinko leaning on their world-building finesse.
A dose of immersive, trip-hop adjacent artistry, the spacious arrangement is balanced by a guest verse from New York hip-hop enigma billy woods.
The song intones…
“She left a necklace and never retrieved it / I left a message meandering gently amidst our secrets / The clasp was broken but you know me / I tend to keep the pieces / Shards in shoeboxes still sharp.”
Catch Panchiko on tour this Spring, including a show at London’s Electric Ballroom on March 29th.
