p-rallel has shared plans for new mixtape ‘Movement’.
The producer is enjoying a stellar summer – and it’s not over yet. New mixtape ‘Movement’ is his broadest document to date, a distillation of club flavours that emphasises his punchy, energetic studio finesse.
Out on October 6th, he’ll toast the release with a fabric takeover. Ahead of this, p-rallel has shared his fantastic new single, a 2k23 overhaul of classic club cut ‘It’s A LUNDUN Thing’.
A real statement, he takes the 1997 Scott Garcia original and injects some of his own flavours, a heady UKG blend for the final days of the heatwave.
He comments…
“I was heavily exposed to Scott Garcia’s original that dropped 26 years ago from my dad playing it when I was a kid and then hearing it, then playing it myself later when I got into spinning Garage. I felt like it was time to bring it back with a 2023 spin, it’s been smashing festivals all summer! I’m announcing my first full length project ‘Movement’ with this, all of the tunes I’ve released so this year are on it, it’s a reflection of what I’ve been doing in the club & at festivals these last couple of years since the pandemic”.
Alongside this, p-rallel has shared a new video. Shot using a VHS camera, it incorporates footage from p-rallel’s recent pre-carnival party for fans – on exam results day, no less! A road block in West London, he interspersed his set with new jams, giving fans a flavour of what to expect from ‘Movement’.
Tune in now.
