One of the most talked about new groups in the UK, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool spent the summer touring in preparation for the release of their debut album. However a show at a Belgian festival ended in tragedy, with frontman Charles Haddon taking his own life shortly afterwards.
Leaving the band devastated, the incident sent shockwaves through British music. In just a short period of time Ou Est Le Swimming Pool built a devoted fan base and made friends throughout the industry.
Now a new tribute concert has been organised for the tragic singer. Chazzstock will include appearances from some close friends, with a number of special performances planned for the October 4th event.
Taking place in London’s Koko venue, the night will be hosted by Eddy Temple Morris. The XFM DJ was one of the band’s earliest supporters and became close friends with Charles Haddon.
Set to act as MC amongst the performers confirmed for Chazzstock include Kissy Sell Out, Daisy Dares You and more. Elsewhere, Brighton indie poppers The Kooks are due to take a break from the studio in order to pay tribute to their friend.
