Osquello was brought up around music.

Club culture was there from the beginning, with his father spending time as a house producer, playing DJ slots around the land.

UK rap spoke to him from a young age, however, with Osquello immersing himself in a huge number of different styles.

Engaged with hip-hop culture, he could pick through UK garage cuts, soak up grime, and check out some other UK underground movements.

Snapped up by Goldie’s newest imprint Fallen Tree 1Hundred, new single 'Restless' brings all these strands together.

Subtle hints of UKG, aligned to those neat jazz flourishes, underpin the vocal, which finds Osquello speaking his truth in emphatic fashion.

Goldie lends a hand on production, while James Davidson completes the collaborative trio, platforming and elevating Osquello's own artistry.

Says drum 'n' bass legend Goldie: “There are originators and imitators, and Osquello is definitely an originator. He stands out amongst his peers from this new generation of artists. He’s got unique style — lyrically, musically, visually — and an effortless flow.”
