The afrobeats riser brings an igniting, dance-infused energy...

oShamo is striking momentum with his latest single, ‘Life Of The Party’.

Embracing the peaks of viral success, the Nigerian artist brings a slick choreography to the track’s infectious basslines. Directed by MRMTMMG, they merge forces to capture the track’s vibey, weekend energy, largely set within a bustling, colourfully-lit club space. Released via Mr Eazi’s worldwide label emPawa Africa, the artist continues to pick up co-signs from some of the most reputable names in afrobeats, forming a new path for his sound.

Since making his debut, the Lagos-born London-based artist has stretched his creativity through distinctive melodies, styles and flair, drawing influence from the likes of Fela Kuti and Ayinde Barrister. Weaving Yoruba, English and Arabic across his verses, oShamo’s music reflects a multitude of experiences across different ages, backgrounds and culture, now racking up over eight million streams.

As he takes a more rounded approach to his craft, oShamo is gearing up for a stacked summer season.
