Experimental Brooklyn types Oneida are set to play a number of European shows next month.
Oneida don't make chill out music. They don't write songs you can lose yourself in, they write songs to be engaged with. Live, this isn't some trip to the library – this is like being pounded on the head by a mad scientist bearing an encyclopaedia.
But in a fun way, of course. 'A List Of The Burning Mountains' is the latest album from Oneida, emerging at the tail end of 2012 via ever dependable American independent Jagjaguwar.
Now the band have outlined plans to return to Europe. Announcing a string of shows, Oneida are set to visit London's Corsica Studios on March 15th.
Tickets are on sale now.
Here's a taster of what to expect. Shot while toasting their 15th anniversary, the clip features Oneida live onstage at Brooklyn's Secret Project Robot on the 1st December 2012.
