American pop star Olivia Rodrigo surprised fans in Manchester with a tiny pub set last night (July 3rd).
The teen-pop idol played Glastonbury last weekend, a terrific show that saw her invite Lily Allen onstage to sing ‘Fuck You’ to the US Supreme Court. Hitting the road, Olivia Rodrigo will now complete a short UK tour, including some sold out Hammersmith Eventim Apollo dates in London.
Completing a show at O2 Apollo Manchester, Olivia Rodrigo then decided to hit the town with her band, embarking on an impromptu after-party.
Strolling into Manchester dive bar Bunny Jacksons, she then performed a version of ‘Torn’, the 90s classic made famous by Natalia Umbruglia.
Delighted – and baffled – fans followed her moves on social media, sharing some gripping live clips. The bar is tiny – you’ll never catch her in such an intimate space again, especially since that viral Glastonbury moment.
Just watched @oliviarodrigo do Torn in @bunnyjacksons
