Ohtis’ Tap Into Something Real On ‘Runnin’

It's a song about addiction

Ohtis have shared their powerful new song 'Runnin' – tune in now.

The band was formed by Sam Swinson, with the trio initially burning their songs on to CD-R and distributing them at shows in their native Illinois.

By 2009, however, Swinson's addictions had destroyed his life – faced with prison, or even death, he opted to take the long, hard road and get clean.

New single 'Runnin' is born from those experiences, years that involve drying out facilities, escaping from his parents' watch to buy heroin, and almost overdosing on numerous occasions.

Dark, bruised Americana, it's a stark return, a song based on pure honesty, direct communication.

Tune in now.
