American oddball rockers Of Montreal have announced details of a very special new single containing a cover of Sri Lankan singer MIA’s song ‘Jimmy’.
Released through cult American imprint Heartfast, the new single will be available in the US on November 25th. The single will contain a version of the MIA track ‘Jimmy’ as well as a new song titled ‘Middle Class Ghetto’.
Heartfast specialize in specially designed picture disc and DVD packages. Of Montreal have titled their edition ‘Cause We Were Virgins To Your Kisses’ and it will come equipped with a nifty DVD featuring footage of the band.
It has been a busy year for the former Clashmusic.com ‘Track Of The Day’ artists. Celebrating more than ten years together, Of Montreal released their new album ‘Skeletal Lamping’ to critical acclaim.
