Octo Octa has shared her new ‘Dreams Of A Dancefloor’ EP.
Everything the American artist does is incredibly considered, a producer who fuses rave’s primal energy with a careful consideration of the wider context within which it is consumed. Recently touching down in London for the always-vital Body Movements festival, Octo Octa then began teasing aspects of a fresh project.
Seemingly three years in the making, ‘Dreams Of A Dancefloor’ finds Octo Octa toying with notions of tension and release, the communal spirit of the dancefloor, and the manner in which electronic music can unlock aspects of the subconscious.
Heady, and psychedelic in the most philosophical sense, ‘Dreams Of A Dancefloor’ features a triptych of inspired tracks, a body of work that was seemingly finessed across a three year span.
