Majestic Mancs Oasis have been forced to postpone three European dates after guitarist Noel Gallagher suffered broken ribs during an onstage attack in Toronto.
The band were busy touring North America when disaster struck during a Canadian date. The onstage assault resulted in the cancellation of the tour, as Noel Gallagher received treatment and was allowed time to recover.
Oasis, who seemingly will never get the rub of the green in the US, have now been forced to cancel gigs in Europe. Performances in the Eden Project in Cornwall, as well as German city Cologne and the historic Paris Bataclan venue have all been postponed.
In a statement the band promised that all three shows would go ahead, and they are currently rescheduling these live appearances. With new album “Dig Out Your Soul” leaking onto the internet, it seems that the band just can’t catch a break.
Oasis’ upcoming UK tour is set to go ahead as planned.
Oasis have cancelled the following tour dates:
September 27th – Eden Project, Cornwall
September 29th – Gloria Theatre, Cologne
September 30th – Bataclan, Paris
