Mancunian musical giants Oasis have stunned fans by revealing that their new single “The Shock Of The Lightning” will come complete with their first ever officially sanctioned remix.
The group have long refused to allow outside producers to work on their material, despite both Noel Gallagher and brother Liam working with dance acts Chemical Brothers and Death In Vegas. Indeed, it is the Chemical Brothers who have received the honour of becoming the first act to remix Oasis.
The track will be a remix of “Falling Down”, taken from new album “Dig Out Your Soul”. Despite numerous unofficial and bootleg remixes, this will be the first time that Oasis have allowed another act to tinker with their material.
“The Shock Of The Lightning” will be released on September 29th. Oasis release new album “Dig Out Your Soul” on October 6th.
