Band Didn't Know About Stream

The new Oasis album 'Dig Out Your Soul' began streaming on Myspace today to the confusion of the band - who apparently found out by reading a report in a newspaper.

The long awaited new album from Oasis will be streamed on Myspace from 12pm today (October 1st). 'Dig Out Your Soul' is excellent proof that Oasis remain one of the UK's most important bands, a fact underlined by their exclusive interview in the new issue of Clash Magazine.

Noel Gallagher, however, was mystified by the move to stream 'Dig Out Your Soul', telling BBC 6Music that he only found out due to a newspaper report.

“I don’t have any opinion on that sort of thing. I don’t get involved. I’ve done a little bit for the website in the past. Are people streaming it on Myspace? Good luck to them,” he said.

"Somebody texted me today with it all and a load of jargon that I don’t understand and I was going, ‘Yes, I don’t know what that means...but yes.’”
