Oasis Attack Fear

Band Feared Stabbing

Mancunian musical legends Oasis have revealed that they feared a recent onstage attack in Toronto was a lot worse – they initially thought guitarist Noel Gallagher had been stabbed.

The band were headlining the V Festival in Toronto, Canada recently when Noel Gallagher was attacked onstage. He suffered three broken ribs, causing the band to cancel their remaining American dates as well as some EUropean appearances.

But the band are actually quite relieved at what occurred, with Liam and Noel Gallagher explaining that in the confusion they feared for the worse. I thought he (Noel) had been stabbed,” Liam told MTV2 Gonzo. “It was fucking dark, but it could’ve been a lot worse, that’s the way I look at it. The guy’s gonna get dealt with.”

Noel himself thought it was at lot worse explaining that “cos it had been raining and there were puddles around I thought I’d been stabbed. For a split second I shit it.”

Oasis are currently taking time off to allow Noel Gallagher to recuperate.
