NZCA / LINES has unveiled the video for his stand out track ‘Okinawa Channels’.
Pop needs a male figure, a counterpoint for the surfeit of Gagas, Perrys et al. Could NZCA / LINES be that person? Well, stranger things have happened.
Shuffling between genders, the skinny frame of Michael Lovett has to bear a lot of hype on his shoulders. Early cut ‘Okinawa Channels’ set tongues wagging, and now the track has been given an official video.
Typically imaginative, watch the new NZCA / LINES video below.

Michael Lovett: “A woman alone in a darkened house is hypnotised by the apparition of NZCA/LINES, in the new video for latest single ‘Okinawa Channels’. Whether an image only seen unto her, or a meteorological phenomenon leading radio transmissions to appear on the solid walls of the house, we are unsure. Directed by Robert Self and shot beautifully on location, this captures and expands upon the track’s sense of longing and unease.”
NZCA / LINES will release their self-titled debut album on February 27th. Tracklisting:
